Broken Nose,Ski Racing .. while wearing a face/chin guard ? - ski racing helmet chin guard

Then I broke my nose in the early winter ski racing. We slalom training and was wearing a helmet and Guardia (MCM). The door somehow managed to survive under the care and broke my nose. Similliar wonder if something happens to someone else?
